SEAT 600 Sofa
Our piece is an unique sofa made from an authentic 600 SEAT Model 'D'. Given the poor state of the bodywork and the seats we had to repair and respray it. The work was very similar to the one which takes place in any workshop when confronting the full recovery of a vehicle!
The Sofa is a fully functional piece with a lifely upholstery. The rear of the Sofa , the boot, is provided with a recycled cooling equipment (a minibar arrived to us from the useless set of furniture of a hotel, probably...). The front part of the Sofa includes an audio amplifier, powered 160 watts, and a jack suitable for all audio players. The piece includes quite a few restored original details, including working headlights (main and dipped headlights) and indicators regulated from the arm.

The internal structure consists of a steel bed base and other recycled metal pieces. The external structure keeps many details from the original SEAT 600 Model “D”. The upholstery is a combination of fabric and synthetic leather surprisingly converted from another mitic SEAT model: the SEAT 124. Our Sofa is the result of combining two of the most mitic models of the Spanish car factory and this modern seat is bringing the past to a comfortable present!
